On guilt (the second trap)

1. I have been hurt, which makes me feel angry.

2. My situation allows me no safe way to express angry feelings.

3. In self-defense, I internalize my anger — turn it against myself.

4. Anger turned against the self feels just like guilt.

5. I have been hurt, which makes me feel guilty.
